There are many shops located on Illinois Tech's Mies Campus. Please note that not all shops are open to students. Please inquire about using a shop or their services by contacting them directly.

College of Architecture Model Shop

The Illinois Tech College of Architecture Model Shop is located in the southeast part of campus behind Galvin library. Currently, the model shop is only open to architecture majors with appropriate trainings.

Smart Tech Lab

The Smart Tech Lab focuses on smart technologies and embedded systems and also has classroom space for the Digital Systems Technologies and Embedded Systems masters specialization within the ITM program.

Located in Chicago's River West neighborhood, mhub is one of the largest makerspaces in Chicago. As a student of Illinois Tech, you have free access to this space.
