A cordless drill is an electric drill which uses rechargeable batteries. These drills are available with similar features to an AC mains-powered drill. ... Safety Instructions

Always Wear Protective Eyewear. Avoid Baggy/Loose Clothing. Loose sleeves, jewelry and hair can be a hazard when you are operating a power drill.


Secure Your Work Piece. Drill Pilot Holes or use center punch to start holes. Use a Drill Stand if necessary. Properly Set the Drill Bit - hand tighten chuck and make sure drill is spinning concentrically before tightening with chuck key.

Active Use

Apply Proper Pressure to the DrillAlways make sure drill bit is mounted properly on the 3-jaw chuck. Drill only in a perpendicular direction to the materiel being perforated. Adjust the clutch according to material hardness. Never use drill bits to purposely elongate holes.

Clean Up

Sweep/vacuum any debris and clean/deburr any holes and put away drill bits & countersinks that were used.
