CNC Milling is a type of subtractive manufacturing offered by the Idea Shop. You must make a reservation to use one of the CNC machines. You must toolpath your file before you can make a reservation – see below for toolpathing help availability calendar.

The Shop Sabre is a 3-Axis CNC Router and is the machine of choice for cutting large parts quickly and accurately.

General Stats:: Material : MDF, Plywood, OSB, Wood, Foam.; Maximum Part Size : 1219.2mm x 2438.4mm x 101.6mm (48in x 96in x 4in)

Roland 4-Axis CNC

Roland 4-Axis CNC

The Roland MDX-540 is a 4-Axis CNC Router and is the machine of choice for cutting small intricate parts quickly and accurately. Jobs can also be cut in 3-Axis if perferred.
